With this motto of Alfred Lord Tennyson, the Department of English at Government General Degree College, Ranibandh, has been steadfast in its pursuit of excellence since its inception in the academic session 2015-2016.Nestled in the heart of Jungle Mahal, the Department of English at Government General Degree College, Ranibandh, shines as a beacon of knowledge, hope, and intellectual curiosity. Despite the challenges of our economically backward region, our dedicated faculty and students strive to excel in understanding the power of language, literature, and culture.
