Department of Education with Undergraduate Honours and General courses started functioning from July, 2015 under Burdwan University. From the session 2017 the college as well as the department was affiliated to the Bankura University. Total number of seats in Honours course is 35 per year and students offered Education as a Programme and Generic Elective subject. At present the department has two full-time faculties (Assistant Professor). The academic condition in terms of teaching – learning process is quite healthy but not adequate to fulfill the criteria of CBCS Curriculum. Library facilities are available to fulfill the requirements of our students. The Department has successfully taken many initiatives to realize the achievement of excellence in education as well as to establish student-teacher relationship.

Courses: The Department offers undergraduate Honours, Undergraduate program& Undergraduate generic course. Curriculum and syllabus of these courses is under CBCS with the affiliation of Bankura University.
