The Department of Education of our college, with
Undergraduate Honours and Programme courses started functioning from the
inception of the college, i.e from 2015 with affiliation of The
University of
Burdwan. After that, in the year 2017 the affiliation shifted to the
Bankura University from The University of Burdwan. The Department offers
Education as Honours and Programme Courses for undergraduate studies.
The academic conditions in terms of teaching- learning process is quite
healthy but not adequate enough to fulfil the criteria of the curriculum
under CBCS. Library facilities are available to facilitate the
requirements of our students. We are trying our best to improve the
department.
Now, we have 3 faculty members, among most of them are well qualified
and experienced. Along with teaching-learning they engaged them on
research work, they wrote book, book chapters and published papers in
National and UGC care Journals. All the teachers of the department are
trying to grow interest among the students in the subject Education. The
teachers also give special importance to establishing cordial
relationship among students and between students and teachers.
