Equal Opportunity & SC/ST/OBC/Minority Cell

Government General Degree College, Ranibandh, located in a predominantly ST region, upholds the values of the Indian Constitution by promoting equitable access to higher education for SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and other disadvantaged students. In 2025, the college has merged the Backward Class Cell with the newly established Equal Opportunity Cell, renaming it as the Equal Opportunity & SC/ST/OBC/Minority Cell. The Cell functions in line with constitutional provisions to foster an inclusive and discrimination-free academic environment, disseminate information on scholarships and welfare schemes, and provide academic, career, and personal support for the holistic development of students.
