Building and Funds

The College receives a funding of 4.8 crores (administrative approval). The layout of the college campus and the design of the buildings were carried out by a group of engineers and architects under the guidance of the Office of the Chief Engineer, PWD (Construction Board), Government of West Bengal. The buildings are constructed by joint Supervision of the engineers of the Offices of the Executive Engineer (Social sector) and Executive Engineer, PWD (Electrical Engineering), PWD, Bankura Division.  

The college has three separate buildings. The two-storeyed and east-facing main academic cum administrative building covering an area of 1150 sq. m. houses different academic departments, classrooms, central library, seminar hall, faculty room, student section, Principal’s room and offices. However, the other one-storeyed building with an area of 365 sq. m. is meant for student activities including boys’ common room, girls’ common room, student union and canteen. Third is the security room. All buildings have adequate toilet facilities separately for gents and ladies. Separate stand for Cycle and Motor-Cycle is there. At present there is no faculty and staff quarters and hostel facilities for students. The college has started the process of construction of a boundary wall for the security of the campus.
